The Florida College Democrats Women’s Caucus Chairwoman just returned from a trip to Washington DC where she attended the Planned Parenthood Youth Policy Summit. At the event, Anna along with the Florida delegation, had the opportunity to attend informational workshops, listen to guest speakers, and lobby on behalf of Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando.
The event was unlike any other to say the least— for sure, being surrounded by over 300 young supporters of Planned Parenthood is nothing less than inspiring.
Above Anna, along with other Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando employees and volunteers, stop to take a photograph with Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
We are pleased to announce that we have a new Women’s Caucus Representative at the University of South Florida— Jackie Horwich!
Jackie is an extremely active and engaged Women’s Studies student at the University of South Florida (USF). She also serves as the President of USF’s Feminist Student Alliance.
We are thrilled to have Jackie on our team and are excited to now have an active presence in the city of Tampa, FL!
